Mr. Bedrosian infornled applicant that she could have up to 5 sq. ft. maxurnun of t�nporary signage on the windaws. Applicant rloted that the "wazm friend.s" was a coffee drink which has bee.n very big on the east coa,st. Camlissioner Urrutia suggested that the applicant pursue sanething graphic that will say what is being served. Cannissioner Holden felt the sign looked like a maz�que and thought the lettering could be more interesting. It was moved by Commissioner Urrutia, seconded by Camiissioner Drury, to continue the request directing applicant to revise the sign with more emphasis on a graphic design and less w�ordage. Applicant rr�ted that the reason there were less trees on the revised plan was because if trees were planted as camtission requested, it would block the signage. Gamtissior�er Druzy felt the ca►mission needed to see all revisions dr�ne on oa�e plan, as applicants arrived with tw�o different set of revised plans. It was moved by Commissioner Drury, seconded by Caniu.ssioner Connor, to continue the request directing applicant to ccmbine the tw�o plans addressing past A.R.C. 's concern�. Catmissioner Drury felt there was a horrendpus parking problem at this center naw. She thought a restudy of the entire parki.ng area was needed correcting the internal congestion problem. She felt the city w�uld be real r�r►iss when they allow another building to be added into this center. Applicant noted that the building was 5,400 square feet which is smaller that what was originally appraved. Mr. Drell suggested the commission ask the public works depart�ne.nt to study the circulation recannending imprc�vements on the parking lot congestion. Ms. Sass discussed additional chariges made to project. Her concerns were with the back wall. Staff felt a block wall should be required. Applicant was asking for a wrought iron wall with oleanders in place of this wall. After further discussion between applicants and camtission it was moved by Caimissioner Urrutia, seconded by Conmissioner McC�ea, to continue the request directing applicant to address the follaaing concerns: 1) Restudy to provide averhangs on the west and east elevations 2) Min:imum 12' setbacks with an average of 15' .
