The applicant, Mr. Gene Woods, discussed the ProPosed exPansion.
Comnissioner Holden explained his concern with the oolimm use. He
stated that he wanted to make sure that the colwim would still
read as a coltunn, not sanething that has just beP-n pasted onto the
building. Commissioner Holden noted that the cannission was
looking at the outside of the building to make sure that it dich't
look like the applicant was simply enclosirig a patio. Chairman
Gregory noted that his mairi concern was that any articulation the
building had before was now being pushed out; and with the winclaws
beirx right on the stxeet, it takes away any articulation. He
added that the applicant needed to create something that shows
more than just pushing the building out.
Action:
It was moved by Camtissioner Holden, seconded by Catmissioner
VanVliet, to continue the request for approval of the expansion
directing staff to grant final approval once the applicant has
discussed the necessaYy chariges with Caim.issioner Holden and the
revised plans are sulnitted to staff for final approval. Motion
