Commissioner Limont commented that these were the�me_�eve�opers that came to them last April or May and basically stood in f o�nt�of the :�,,:x:: Planning Commission and said if they di:° 't get approval that evening, the projects wouldn't go forward. The µ = ing day she went to the Landscape Committee meeting only to fi ' � hrough discussion that the project across the street, The Vineyard 't have a final grading permit and didn't have an affordab,�e�housing p ' it�he just wanted to bring that up. For her it was a (ear ,�"� experience. She understood that these guys are in business and ne' o move their projects forward, but sometimes she though ey had to !ie extr�ely careful with them. The names here were very familiar and she we"nt back over her notes and there they were. Commissioner Schmidt asked if the exist'tng mono-palm was 65 feet tall. LAURA BISHOP, a representative of T-Mobile, said that staff did ,� ` a pretty good job of introducing the project and asked for any questions. Her address for the record was 22751 EI Prado #2313 in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, 92688. There were no questions for the applicant. Chairperson Tschopp asked for any testimony in FAVOR or OPPOSITION to the proposed project. Commissioner Campbell stated that it blends in very well and the 65-foot tower would be nicely balanced with the taller and shorter pa�ms. �h;. Ms. Aylaian said she spoke with Spencer'I�night (the City's Landscape Manager) and he was at the Del Taco site lastw���and said that in the past there have been dying trees that have be (aced several times and continued to be a struggle, but those were in g aV hape right now. � ��:�; Commissioner Limont asked if thi�� ` �ect was approved with a cor,ditional use permit, what measures they wou have t�;eFt�Orce and make certain the landscaping would be�rnaintained. Ms. Ay��n indicated that in the past there hadn't always been conditions of approval attached to a CUP that would allow the Ci�t��to revoke the CUP.if the landscaping wasn't maintained. Since that hadn't'always been done�in the past, there are existing sites where the landscaping isn°t at the level staff would like.
