A. Any person wishing to discuss any item not otherwise on the Agenda
may address the Planning Commission at this point by stepping to the
lectern and giving his/her name and address for the record. Remarks
shall be limited to a maximum of five minutes unless additional time is
authorized by the Planning Commission.
B. This is the time and place for any person who wishes to comment on
non-hearing Agenda items. It should be noted that at Planning
Commission discretion, these comments may be deferred until such
time on the Agenda as the item is discussed. Remarks shall be limited

VIII. PUBLIC HEARINGS
Anyone who challenges any hearing matter in court may be limited to
raising only those issues he, she or someone else raised at the public
hearing described herein, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
A. Case No. GPA 11-089. Update of the Housing Element. City of
Palm Desert, Applicant.
That the Planning Commission approve the findings and adopt
Planning Commission Resolution No. ______, recommending to the
City Council adoption of a Negative Declaration and approval of GPA
11-089.
Recommended Action:
Commissioner _____ moved and Commissioner ______ seconded
forwarding staff’s recommendation to the City Council for approval of
adoption of GPA 11-089 and update of the Housing Element of the
General Plan.
Commissioner _____ moved and Commissioner ______ seconded
adopting Planning Commission Resolution No. ______ recommending to
the City Council adoption of a Negative Declaration and approval of GPA
11-089.
