A. Any person wishing to discuss any item not otherwise on the
agenda may address the Planning Commission at this point by
stepping to the lectern and giving his/her name and address for the
record. Remarks shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) minutes
unless additional time is authorized by the Planning Commission.
B. This is the time and place for any person who wishes to comment
on non-hearing agenda items. It should be noted that, at Planning
Commission discretion, these comments may be deferred until
such time on the agenda as the item is discussed. Remarks shall

Request for approval of the September 20, 2011, meeting minutes.

VII. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Right-of-way vacation, Shepherd Lane Parcel Tract 29469, Kristi
Hanson Architects, Applicant.
Finding of General Plan conformity for vacating Daisy Lane public
access and of an excess sidewalk and landscape easement along
Shepherd Lane in tract No. 29469.
Recommended Action:
Commissioner moved and Commissioner seconded
approval of the Consent Calendar item.
Vill. PUBLIC HEARINGS
Anyone who challenges any hearing matter in court may be limited to
raising only those issues he, she or someone else raised at the public
hearing described herein, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
A. Case No. CUP 11-348, Short-term rental, Richard Kutcher,
Applicant.
Consideration of a conditional use permit to allow a short-term rental
located at 73699 El Paseo Unit #1.
Recommended Action:
Commissioner moved and Commissioner seconded
approving CUP 11-348, subject to the attached conditions.

adopting Planning Commission Resolution No. approving CUP 11-
348, subject to the attached conditions.
IX. MISCELLANEOUS
Discussion of suggestions to be presented to the City Council relating to
the permitting of short-term rentals. Recommendations of the Planning

Commission will be forwarded tot eh City Council with an update report on
the first six months of the written short-term rental ordinance.
