MR. ROBERT RITCHEY, 45-120 5an Pablo, architect, stated that he had no problems with the conditions except for the deletion of direct acr_ess onto Hovley. Mr. Diaz noted that the fire department had reviewed the plans and had expressed no concern. Mr. Diaz indicated that some parcels do not have any access other than Hovley, but. noted that the city strives to minimize the number of curb cuts. Mr. Ritchey felt that one more curb cut would not be a large detriment. Mr. Ritchey stated that problems created by no access would be the loop around for truck delivery, creation of a race track, trucks mingling with cars, creation of dead ends, and from a marketing standpoint. Mr. Ritchey indicated that service entrances would be to the rear and the front would be office type entrances. 4 MINUTES PALM DESERT PLANNING COMMISSION MAY 20, 1986 r..
