A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT FOR THE PORTOLA DEL SOL PROJECT. CASE NO. CUP-03-75.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert has held a
duly noticed public hearing on December 2, 1975 on the final environmental impact
report on a 100-unit planned residential development submitted by the LURIA
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, INC. and located on a 20-acre site east of Portola Avenue,
north of El Cortez and south of Goleta Avenue, more particularly described as:
A portion of the north 1/2, northwest 1/4, Section 21
T5S, R6E, SBB & M.
WHEREAS, said environmental impact report does conform to the provisions
of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and Palm Desert Resolution
No. 74-14 on Environmental Quality Procedure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City
of Palm Desert as follows:
That it does hereby recommend to the City Council of Palm Desert
that it certify as complete that certain draft environmental impact report
attached hereto as Exhibit "A: and incorporated by reference herein as though
fully set forth at length, together with all comments received from other
agencies, organizations, and community groups thereon, and the responses to such
comments prepared by the City staff, as the certified final environmental impact
report for the Portola del Sol project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1975 by the following
vote:
Ayes: BERKEY, MULLINS, SEIDLER, VAN DE MARK, WILSON
