A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS RELATIVE TO A CLARI-
FICATION OF THE PALM DESERT ZONING ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE
STATUS OF ANIMAL OUT -PATIENT FACILITIES.
CASE NO. ZOC-1.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert did
receive a written statement from HAL KAPP requesting a clarification by said Com-
mission on appropriate provisions of the Palm Desert Zoning Ordinance relating
to the status of animal out -patient facilities; and,
WHEREAS, on January 13, 1976, the Planning Commission did consider
this request for clarification, along with the testimony and arguments, if any,
of all persons who desired to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Palm Desert as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute
the findings of the Commission in this case.
2. That said use shall be classified as an animal clinic, as defined
in Section 25.2-1 of the Ordinance.
3. That an animal clinic shall be allowed in the SI and PC (1)
Districts since it does conform to the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of
Palm Desert Planning Commission held on January 13, 1976, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: BERKEY, MULLINS, VAN de MARK, WILSON
NOES: SEIDLER
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:
