HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 122PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 122 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT ON RYWAY PLACE TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ADOPTED PALM DESERT GENERAL PLAN AND THE PRO- JECT FOR THE JOSHUA ROAD WASTEWATER COLLECTION LINE IS NOT IN CON- FORMANCE WITH THE PALM DESERT GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of California require that the proposed public works shall be submitted to the City Planning Agency for review and report to said official agency as to conformity with the adopted General Plan or part thereof; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received a notice that the Coachella Valley County Water District proposes construction of the Ryway Place Wastewater Collection Line and additions to the Joshua Road Wastewater Collection Line on Cholla Drive, Cactus Drive, Brushwood Drive, and Manzanita Drive; and, WHEREAS, said projects have been reviewed by the Palm Desert Planning Commission and the Department of Environmental Services, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case. 2. That it does hereby find that the Ryway Place Wastewater Collection Line proposed to be constructed by the Coachella Valley County Water District is in compliance with the adopted Palm Desert General Plan. 3. That the proposed additions to the Joshua Road Wastewater Collection Line would not conform to the Palm Desert General Plan if extended more than 2 lots west of Joshua Road. PASSES, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission held on the 3rd day of February, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, MULLINS, VAN de MARK, WILSON, SEIDLER NOES: ABSENT: ABSTAIN: WILLIAM R.
