HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 127PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 127 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE PROJECTS PROPOSED TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THA ADOPTED PALM DESERT GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of California require that the proposed public works shall be submitted to the City Planning Agency for review and report to said official agency as to conformity with the adopted General Plan or part thereof; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received a notice that the Coachella Valley County Water District proposes construction of Whitewater/Magnesia Falls Sewer Line, between Cook Street and Monterey, and the Coral Gables Court Sewer Line south of Fairway, and WHEREAS, said projects have been reviewed and have been found to be in conformance to the adopted Palm Desert General Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case. 2. That it does hereby find that the attached list of projects proposed to be constructed by the Coachella Valley County Water District are in com- pliance with the adopted Palm Desert General Plan. 3. That careful consideration be given to the preservation of the existing tamarisk trees on the Magnesia Falls Drive right-of-way. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission held on the 3rd day of March, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, MULLINS, SEIDLER, WILSON NOES: NONE ABSENT: VAN DE MARK ABSTAIN: NONE ILLIAM R.
