HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 138PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 138 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE PALM DESERT MUNICIPAL CODE, THE GRADING ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 13th day of April, 1976, hold a duly noticed Public Hearing, continued from March 3, 1976, to consider a new Grading Ordinance for the City of Palm Desert, and; WHEREAS, said ordinance has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Precedure Resolution Number 74-14", in that a final Environmental Impact Report was presented at a duly noticed Public Hearing held September 29, 1975, and said report was recommended to the City Council for certification as a final Environmental Impact Report; WHEREAS, at said Public Hearing, upon hearing and considering the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Planning Com- mission did find sufficient facts and reasons to exist to make the recommendation for approval to the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby recommend approval to the City Council of Chapter 27 of the Palm Desert Municipal Code, the Grading Ordinance. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission, held on the 13th day of April, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, VAN DE MARK, WILSON NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTEST: PAUL m.
