HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 200PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 200 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL, APPROVAL OF A TENTA- TIVE PARCEL MAP TO SUBDIVIDE 81,000 SQUARE FEET, GEN- ERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LARREA STREET, AP- PROXIMATELY 150 FEET WEST OF PRICKLY PEAR LANE. CASE NO. PM 8810. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California did, on the 30th day of November, 1976, hold a duly noticed Public Hearing to consider an application from JO CRAIL McCART, requesting approval of a Parcel Map to divide 81,000 square feet into a 10,000 square foot parcel and a 71,000 square foot parcel, located in the C-1 Zone District and situated on the north side of Larrea Street, approximately 150 feet west of Prickly Pear Lane, and more particularly described as: A Portion of Lots 6 & 7, Block U Palm Desert Unit #1 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Procedure Resolution Number 74-14", in that the project is exempt as a minor lot line adjustment, as specified by Class 5 exemptions; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did take into consideration, the Tentative Parcel Map as submitted, and the reports of the various reviewing agencies; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find that the subject Tentative Parcel Map does substantially comply with the City of Palm Desert Municipal Code, and the State of California Subdivision Map Act, as amended; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find that the subject Tentative Parcel Map does comply with the adopted General Plan and Redevelopment Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby approve the above described Tentative Parcel Map, No. PM 8810, subject to fulfillment of the conditions, as attached. -1- Planning Commission Resolution No. 200 PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on the 30th day of November, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, MILLS, READING, WILSON NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTEST: \\\ PAUL A. WILLIAMS, SECRETARY PALM DESERT PLANNING COMMISSION -2- Planning Commission Resolution No. 200 November 30, 1976 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL CASE NO. PM 8810 1. The Tentative Parcel Map is granted for the land as described in the application and any attachments thereto, and as shown on the Plot Plan as revised, labeled Exhibit A, and the requirements herein. 2. All requirements of any law, ordinance, or regulation of the State of California, City of Palm Desert, and any other applicable government entity shall be complied with as part of construction. 3. Street trees shall be planted along Larrea Street in accordance with City Standards. 4. Curb, gutter, sidewalk, and tie-in paving shall be installed to the specifications of the City Engineer. AGREEMENT I accept and agree, prior to use of this permit or approval, to comply with all the conditions set forth, and understand that the Department of Building and Safety will not issue a building permit or allow occupancy on the use permitted until this signed confirmation has been received by the Department of Environ- mental Services.
