HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 201PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 201 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF A TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP TO SUBDIVIDE 4.53 ACRES INTO TWO (2) PARCELS, LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SUN LODGE LANE AND EL PASEO. CASE NO. PM 8740 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did, on the 30th day of November, 1976, hold a duly noticed Public Hearing to consider an application from SUN LODGE LTD, PARTNERSHIP, requesting approval of a Parcel Map to divide 4.53 acres into a 10,000 square foot parcel and a 4.25 acre parcel, located in the C-1 Zone District, and situated at the north- west corner of Sun Lodge Lane and El Paseo, and more particularly described as: APN 621-202-003 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Procedure Resolution Number 74-14", in that the project is exempt as a minor lot line adjustment, as specified by Class 5 exemptions; and, WHEREAS, said Planning Commission did take into consideration the Tentative Parcel Map as submitted, and the reports of the various reviewing agencies; and, WHEREAS, said Planning Commission did find that the subject Tentative Parcel Map does substantially comply with the City of Palm Desert Municipal Code, and the State of California Subdivision Map Act, as amended; and, WHEREAS, said Planning Commission did find that the subject Tentative Parcel Map does comply with the adopted General Plan and the Redevelopment Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby approve the above described Tentative Parcel Map, No. PM 8740, subject to fulfillment of the conditions, as attached. -1- Planning Commission Resolution No. 201 PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on the 30th day of November, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, MILLS, READING, WILSON NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTEST: PAUL A. lJILLIAMS, SECRETARY PALM DESERT PLANNING COMMISSION 0Y' WI LSONi-,TCHAIRMAN ` v -2- Planning Commission Resolution No. 201 November 30, 1976 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL CASE NO. PM 8740 1. The Tentative Parcel Map is granted for the land as described in the application and any attachments thereto, and as shown on the Plot Plan as revised, labeled Exhibit A, and the requirements herein. 2. All requirements of any law, ordinance, or regulation of the State of California, City of Palm Desert, and any other applicable government entity shall be complied with as part of construction. 3. Street trees shall be planted along El Paseo and Sun Lodge Lane in ac- cordance with City Standards. 4. Sidewalk shall be installed on Sun Lodge Lane to the specifications of the City Engineer. AGREEMENT I accept and agree, prior to use of this permit or approval, to cpmply with all the conditions set forth, and understand that the Department of Building and Safety will not issue a building permit or allow occupancy on the use permitted until this signed confirmation has been received by the Department of Environmental Services.
