HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 207PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 207 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT A PROPOSED PROJECT TO SEWER THE SOUTH SIDE OF PALM DESERT TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ADOPTED PALM DESERT ' GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of California require that proposed public works shall be submitted to the City Planning Agency for review and report to said official agency as to conformity with the adopted General Plan or part thereof; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received a notice that the Coachella Valley County Water District proposes construction of 165,000 lineal feet of various sized sewer collection lines on the south side of Palm Desert; and, WHEREAS, said project has been reviewed and has been found to be in conformance to the adopted Palm Desert General Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case. 2. That it does hereby find that the project proposed to be constructed by the Coachella Valley County Water District is in compliance with the adopted Palm Desert General Plan. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission held on the 18th day of January, 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, MILLS, READING, WILSON NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTEST: PAUL A WILLIAMS, Secretary
