HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 212PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 212 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND APPROVING A TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP COVERING 2.64 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EL PASEO, AND WEST SIDE OF LANTANA AVENUE. CASE NO. PM 9136 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did receive a verified application from W. R. BOLMEIER and JENS HARBOE, requesting approval of a lot split of 2.64 acres of land, located in the C-1 Zone District and situated on the south side of El Paseo, west of Lantana and north of Larrea, more particularly described as: APN 625-131-005 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Procedure Resolution Number 74-14", in that an Environmental Assessment form was submitted and a Negative Declaration was made by the Director of Environmental Services, and the appeal period has expired; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did take into consideration, the Tentative Parcel Map as submitted, and the reports of the various reviewing agencies; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find that the subject Tentative Parcel Map does substantially comply with the City of Palm Desert Municipal Code and the State of California Subdivision Map Act, as amended; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find that the subject Tentative Parcel Map does comply with the adopted General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1) that the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; and 2) that it does hereby approve the above described Tentative Parcel Map No. PM 9136, subject to the fulfillment of the attached conditions. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 25th day of January, 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, MILLS, READING, WILSON NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE TTEST: ILSON/CHAIRMAN// ...,.\, PAUL A. WILLIAMS, SECRETARY PLANNING COMMISSION REVISED RESOLUTION NO. 212 JANUARY 25, 1977 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL CASE NO. PM 9136 1. The Tentative Parcel Map is granted for the land as described in the application and any attachments thereto, and as shown on the plot plan as revised, labeled Exhibit A, and the requirements herein. 2. All requirements of any law, ordinance, or regulation of the State, City, and any other applicable government entity shall be complied with as a part of any construction, including installation of the following: a. Install curb, gutter, ten (10) foot sidewalk, and paving as necessary on Larrea Street and Lantana Avenue to provide ul- timate 44' travelled way. b. Install ten (10) foot sidewalk along the full El Paseo frontage. c. Install street lights at the intersection of Lantana Avenue with El Paseo and Larrea Street. d. All work in the public right-of-way shall be constructed in conformance with the City Standards, Specifications and the Requirements of the City Engineer. e. Street trees shall be planted along all street frontages in accordance with the requirements of the City Engineer. AGREEMENT I accept and agree, prior to use of this permit or approval, to comply with all the conditions set forth, and understand that the Department of Building & Safety will not issue a building permit or allow occupancy on the use permitted until this signed confirmation has been received by the Department of Environmental Services.
