HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 245PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 245 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT PROPOSED PROJECTS TO INSTALL 1,000 FEET OF WATER LINE IN STATE HIGHWAY 111 FROM DEEP CANYON ROAD TO SHADOW HILLS ROAD AND 550 FEET OF WATER LINE IN SAGE LANE BETWEEN EL PASEO AND TUMBLEWEED LANE TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ADOPTED PALM DESERT GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402(a) of the Government Code of the State of California require that proposed public works shall be submitted to the City Planning Agency for review and report to said official agency as to conformity with the adopted General Plan or part thereof; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received a notice that the Coachella Valley County Water District proposes construction of 1,000 lineal feet of water line in State Highway 111 from Deep Canyon Road to Shadow Hills Road and, 550 lineal feet of water line in Sage Lane between El Paseo and Tumbleweed Lane; and WHEREAS, said projects have been reviewed and have been found to be in conformance to the adopted Palm Desert General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California,, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby find that the projects proposed to be constructed by the Coachella Valley County Water District are in compliance with the adopted Palm Desert General Plan. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 31st day of May, 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: KELLY, KRYDER, READING, SNYDER, BERKEY NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE 41/6/) GEO , RGE BERKE CHAIRMAN ATTEST: PAUL A.
