HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 260PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. ?60 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING THE FINDINGS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION REGARDING A PROPOSED RE- DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT WHICH WAS REFERRED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY. CASE NO. RPA 03-77 WHEREAS, the City Redevelopment Agency referred a proposed Redevelopment Plan Amendment to the Planning Commission for a report on the effects of this request on the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, said matter was reviewed at the Planning Commission. meeting of July 5, 1977. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. The proposed Redevelopment Plan Amendment to change the land use designation from medium density residential-1 (maximum of seven units per net acre) to Core Area Commercial for ap- proximately 1.5 acres located southerly of and adjacent to El Paseo between Lupine Lane and Sun Lodge Lane is considered to be in conformance with the City's General Plan. 2. The secretary is hereby directed to forward this report to the City Council pursuant to Section 33455 of the State Health and Safety Code. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the Palm Desert Planning Commission at a regular meeting held on this 5th day of July, 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Kryder, Snyder, Kelly, Berkey, Reading NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None GEORGE BERKEY, CHAIRMAN ATTEST: PAUL A.
