A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING A CHANGE OF ZONE
PROCEEDINGS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF THE INTERSECTION OF FAIRHAVEN AND 44TH AVENUE FROM
(S) STUDY TO PR-10 (PLANNED RESIDENTIAL-10 DWELLING UNITS
TO THE ACRE) FOR A SPECIAL MEETING ON AUGUST 9, 1977
CASE NO. C/Z 07-76 (REVISED)
WHEREAS, the College of the Desert Specific Plan has progressed sufficient-
ly to allow for the Planning Commission to determine the appropriate zoning on
property that has been previously zoned Study which is included in the boundaries
of the College of the Desert Specific Plan, and;
WHEREAS, a parcel located at the northwest corner of Fairhaven and 44th
Avenue is presEntly zoned Study and included in the College of the Desert Specific
Plan, and;
WHEREAS, the Commission believes now is the appropriate time to consider
the appropriate zoning on this property.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Palm Desert, California as follows:
1. A special meeting is hereby called for August 9, 1977 at 7:00 p.m.
in the City Hall Council Chambers
2. At said meeting a public hearing will be considered on the rezoning
from (S) Study to PR-10 (Planned Residential-10 Dwelling Units to the Acre)
or other zoning deemed appropriate on parcel described above.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of Palm
Desert Planning Commission held on July 5, 1977 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Snyder, Kryder, Reading, Kelly, Berkey
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
