A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT A PROPOSED PROJECT TO INSTALL
500 FEET OF WATER LINE BETWEEN CANDELWOOD AND LANTANA TO BE
CONSTRUCTED BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT IS
IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ADOPTED PALM DESERT GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402(a) of the Government Code of the State of
California require that proposed public works shall be submitted to the City Planning
Agency for review and report to said official agency as to conformity with the adopted
General Plan or part thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received a notice that the Coachella Valley
County Water District proposes construction of 500 lineal feet of water line between
Candlewood and Lantana; and
WHEREAS, said project has been reviewed and has been found to be in conformance
to the adopted Palm Desert General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm
Desert, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings
of the Commission in this case;
2. That it does hereby find that the project proposed to be constructed by the
Coachella Valley County Water District is in compliance with the adopted
Palm Desert General Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning
Commission, held on this 20th day of July, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: KELLY, BERKEY, SNYDER, READING
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: KRYDER
ABSTAIN: NONE
