HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 316PLANNING COMMISSION RESOUTION NO. 316 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND APPROVING THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD ACTIONS OF DECEMBER 6, 1977. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did review the Design Review Board Actions of December 6, 1977, approving: Case No. 63C - Request for approval of preliminary site, floor and elevations for a racquetball/ health complex for PALM DESERT RACQUET- BALL/HEALTH CLUB, INC. WHEREAS, at this time, upon considering and receiving all testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desirng to be heard, said Commission did find sufficient facts and reasons to exist to approve the Design Review Board actions of December 6, 1977. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and consitute the findings of the Commission in this case. 2. That it does hereby approve the Design Review Board actions of December 6, 1977. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 14th day of December, 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, KRYDER, READING, SNYDER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE GEO'. BERKEY, Chair an A TEST: P L A. WILLIAMS, Secretary /ks SPECIAL CONDITIONS CASE NO. 63C 1. Construction plans shall be submitted for approval to the City Fire Marshal prior to issuance of building permits. All con- ditions shall be made a part of construction and no certificate of occupancy shall be issued until completed. 2. Any/all utility service and distribution lines on or abutting the subject property, shall be placed underground prior to oc- cupancy clearance. 3. Final construction drawings including a final landscaping, grad- ing, lighting, amenities trash storage, walking layout, and ir- rigation plan shall be submitted to the Design Review Board. No final inspection or occupancy permit shall be given by the Dept. of Environmental Services to this project until the aforementioned approved plans and construction shall have been completed. 4. Applicant shall comply with all of the requirements of the related Case CUP 09-77. 5. Final landscaping plan shall include proposed improvements for pedestrians, bicycles and landscaping for area along Highway 111 as required by Condition No. 9 of the Conditional Use Permit CUP 09-77. 6. Lower northerly 1/3 of building two feet. 7. Mounding shall be provided around southern area, along Painters Path with wrapping around the south end and integrate the fire escape. 8. Wood treatment shall be natural redwood, minimum 1"x8" with tongue and groove. 9. A handrail and handicap entrance shall be provided. 10. The service entrance shall be refined. AGREEMENT I accept and agree, prior to use of this permit or approval, to comply with all the conditions set forth, and understand the Department of Building and Safety will not issue a building permit or allow occupancy on the use permitted until this signed confirmation has been received by the Department of Environmental Services.
