HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 322PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 322 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND APPROVING A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF A TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP TO DIVIDE LOT 1 OF PAR- CEL MAP 10656 INTO TWO PARCELS C & D AND TO DIVIDE LOT 8 OF TRACT 4558 INTO TWO PARCELS A & B AT DEEP CANYON TENNIS CLUB. CASE NO. PM 11680 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, did receive a verified application from J. M. PETERS COMPANY, requesting approval of a Tentative Parcel Map to divide, for condominium purposes, Lot 1 of Parcel Map 10656 (approximately 11.32 acres) into two Parcels C (approximately 7.02 acres) and D (approximately 4.30 acres) and to divide, for condominium purposes, Lot 8 of Tract 4558 (approximately 8.56 acres) into two parcels A (approximately 5.1 acres) and B (approxi- mately 3.46 acres) at Deep Canyon Tennis Club within the PR-7, S.P., more particularly described as: APN 628-150-014 APN 628-150-015 APN 628-150-016 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Procedure Resolution No. 77-7", in that the Director of Environmental Services has determined on December 12, 1977 that the project would not have a significant impact on the environment and the appeal period did expire; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did take into consideration the Tentative Parcel Map as submitted, and the reports of the various re- viewing agencies, and; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find that the proposed Ten- tative Parcel Map conforms to all applicable requirements of the Palm Desert Zoning Ordinance, General Plan, Subdivision Ordinance and the California Subdivision Map Act. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby approve the request of J. M. PETERS COM- PANY for approval of Tentative Parcel Map PM 11680. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission held on this 3rd day of January, 1978, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: BERKEY, KELLY, KRYDER, READING, SNYDER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE GATE—BERKEY, Chairm PL A. The Tentative Parcel Map is granted for the land as described in the application and any attachments thereto, and as shown on the plot plan, labeled Exhibit A, and the requirements herein. 2. All requirements of any law, ordinance, or regulation of the State, City, and any other applicable government entity shall be complied with. 3. All of the retention basins, shall be graded and in operation, as required by the Director of Public Works, prior to the recorda- tion of this map. AGREEMENT I accept and agree, prior to use of this permit or approval, to comply with all the conditions set forth, and understand that the Department of Building and Safety will not issue a building permit or allow oc- cupancy on the use permitted until this signed confirmation has been received by the Department of Environmental Services.
