A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND APPROVING A 1-YEAR
EXTENSION OF TIME ON THE APPROVAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
CUP 13-77 AND REQUIRING THE APPLICANT TO PAY FEES INTO THE
PALM DESERT PLANNED LOCAL DRAINAGE FACILITIES FUND AND THE
SIGNALIZATION FUND.
CASE NO. CUP 13-77
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California,
did hold a duly noticed Public Hearing on September 20, 1978 to consider a
request from Bruce Bedig for a 1-year extension of time on the Approval of
Conditional Use Permit CUP 13-77 which provided for the expansion of an existing
mobile home park by adding 17 spaces to the Silver Spur Mobile Manor, more
particularly described as:
APN 631 - 150 - 01
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is empowered to grant time extensions
of up to twelve months on the Approval of Conditional Use Permits in Sec.
25.72.110 of the Palm Desert Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find the following reasons to
exist to justify the granting of said time extension:
1. Granting the Extension of Time will not in any way adversely
affect the public health, safety or general welfare.
2. The applicant is not proposing any changes to the project and
the situation is unchanged since the subject conditional use
permit was originally granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Palm Desert, California, as follows:
1. That Bruce Bedig is hereby granted a 1-year time extension on
the Approval of Conditional Use Permit CUP 13-77.
2. That Conditional Use Permit CUP 13-77 shall lapse and become null
and void subsequent to August 30, 1979.
3. That new Conditions of Approval are hereby required to read as
follows:
18. Applicant shall pay fees into the Palm Desert Planned Local
Drainage Facilities Fund in an amount to be determined by the
provisions of Ordinance No. 175.
19. Applicant shall pay fees into the Palm Desert Signalization
Fund in the amount of $50 per new lot.
20. The number of lots shall be limited to 16 spaces.

California, on this 20th day of September, 1978, by the following vote,
to wit:
