A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT A PROPOSED
PROJECT BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
TO INSTALL CERTAIN SEWER LINES, IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH
THE ADOPTED PALM DESERT GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, Sections 65401 and 65402 (a) of the Government Code
of the State of California, require that proposed public works
shall be submitted to the City Planning Agency for review and re-
port to said official agency as to conformity with the adopted
General Plan or part thereof; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received a notice that
the Coachella Valley County Water District proposed construction
of the following public works:
The project consists of the construction of an
8 inch diameter collection sewer within Ave. 44
between State Highway 111 on the East and Painters
Path on the West, and within Painters Path between
Ave. 44 on the South and State Highway 111 on the
North, an approximate length of 1,500 feet. The
proposed line will discharge into an existing
trunk sewer line within Ave. 44. The project
will serve as a collection line for property along
Ave. 44 and Painters Path.
WHEREAS, said projects have been reviewed and have been
found to be in conformance with the adopted Palm Desert General
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of
the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and
constitute the findings of the Commission in this case.
2. That it does hereby find that the project proposed to
be constructed by the Coachella Valley County Water
District is in compliance with the adopted Palm Desert
General Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 3rd day of July,
1979, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Berkey, Kryder, Miller, Snyder
NOES: None
ABSENT: Fleshman
ABSTAIN: None
