HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 558PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 558 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND APPROV- ING A ONE YEAR TIME EXTENSION FOR A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP TO DIVIDE ONE PARCEL INTO THREE PARCELS, THE SITE BEING LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAN JOSE AND CATALINA WAY. CASE NO. PM 14163 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did hold a duly noticed Public Hearing on December 19, 1979, to consider a request by I. HAROLD HOUSELY for approval of a minimum one year time exten- sion of a previously approved Tentative Parcel Map to divide a 0.74 acre parcel within the R-1 8,000 (Single Family Residential, min. 8,000 sq. ft. lots) zone, on the southwest corner of San Jose and Catalina Way into three parcels, the site being more particularly described as: APN 627-134-006 WHEREAS, at said Public Hearing, upon hearing and considering the testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to be heard said Planning Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist to justify approval of the Tentative Parcel Map time extension: 1. The subject Tentative Parcel Map does substantially comply with Chapter 26 of the City of Palm Desert Municipal Code, and the State of California Subdivision Map Act, as amended. 2. The subject Tentative Parcel Map does comply with the adopted General Plan and the Palm Desert Zoning Ordinance. 3. The site is physically suitable for the type of development proposed. 4. The design of the division and the proposed improvements are not likely to cause substantial environmental damage or serious health problems. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby approve a one year extension of time for the filing of a Final Map for the above described Parcel Map No. 14163, subject to fulfillment of the conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 457. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the Palm Desert Planning Commission, on this 19th day of December, 1979, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Berkey, Kryder, Miller, Snyder NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None WALTER SNYDER, Chai r*ifan PAUL A.
