HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 749PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 749 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND APPROVING A TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP TO DIVIDE LAND INTO THREE (3) PARCELS ON 6.9 ACRES IN THE S.I. ZONE, LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF GREEN WAY, APPROXIMATELY 260 FEET EAST OF COOK STREET. CASE NO. PM 18142 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did hold a duly noticed Public Hearing on the 29th day of September, 1981, to consider the request of COOK STREET INDUSTRIAL PARK, for approval of a 3 lot Tentative Parcel Map for 6.9 acres in the S.I. zone (Service Industrial District) located on the east side of Green Way, approximately 260 feet east of Cook Street, more particularly described as: LOT 3, TRACT 13236 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Procedures to Implement the California Environmental Quality Act, Resolution No. 80-89", in that the Director of Environmental Services has deter- mined that the project has previously been assessed in connection with Case No. TT13236. mony and Planning approval WHEREAS, at said Public Hearing, upon hearing and considering the testi- arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to be heard, said Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist to justify of the Parcel Map: That the proposed map is consistent with applicable general and specific plans. 2. That the design or improvement of the proposed sub- division is consistent with applicable general and specific plans. 3. That the site is physically suitable for the type of development. 4. That the site is physically suitable for the proposed density of development. 5. That the design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements are not likely to cause substantial environmental damage or substantially and avoidably injure fish or wildlife or their habitat. 6. That the design of the subdivision or the type of improvements is not likely to cause serious public health problems. 7. That the design of the subdivision or the type of improvements will not conflict with easements, acquired by the public at large, for access through or use of property within the proposed subdivision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of Palm Desert, California, as follows: of the City 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Commission in this case; 2. That it does hereby approve the above described Tentative Parcel Map No. 18142, subject to fulfillment of the attached conditions. The Tentative Parcel Map is granted for the land as described in the attach- ments, hereto, and as shown on the map labeled, Exhibit A, and the require- ments herein. 2. All requirements of any law, ordinance, or regulation of the State, City, and any other applicable government entity, shall be complied with as a part of this map. 3. Applicant shall comply with all of the Conditions of Approval for related Case Nos. TT 13236 and CUP 08-78, as a part of the approval of this Tentative Parcel Map.
