CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ALLOWING U`,E OF A 1200
SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL BUILDING AS A VETERINARY
HOSPITAL LOCATED AT 74-004 HIGHWAY 11I.
CASE NO. CUP 85-6
WHEREAS. the Planning Commission of the City of Palrn Desert, California.
did on the 7th day of January hold a duly noticed Public hearing to consider
the request by i)R. NANCY CREEK for approval of a conditional use Permit to
allow use of a 1200 square foot commercial building within the Generi!
Commercial zone as a veterinary hospital located at 74-004 Highway 111.
WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City
of Palm Desert Procedures to implement the California Environmental Quality
Act, Resolution No. 80-89". in that the director of environmental services has
determined that the project is a class 3 :ategorical exemption.
WHEREAS. at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering ;III
testimony and arguments, of all interested persons desiring to be h2<ard. said
commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist to justify their
actions:
1. The site and facility are suitable for use as a veterinary hospital
and are consistent with the objectives and specific prov i , i cn5 of
the C-1 zone.
2. the operation of the facility will not he detrimental to the huhlir
health, safety. welfare or he materially iniurion5 try other
properties in the vicinity.
NOW. THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Palm Desert. California. as follow;:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute th
findings of the commission in this case.
2. That CLIP 8S-6 is hereby approved.

state and federal statutes now in force or which hereafter may be in
force.
