HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 1175PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1175 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF ZONING FROM AHDPR-l8 TO THE ORIGINAL ZONE OF SERVICE INDUSTRIAL. CASE NO C/Z 86-5 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 2nd day of September, 1986, hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider the request. of PALM DESERT PARTNERS for the above mentioned zone change reversion of zoning from AHDPR-18 to the original zone of Service Industrial; and WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Procedure for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act, Resolution No. 80-89," in that the director of community development has determined that the project will not have a significant environmental impact and a negative declaration is hereby certified; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to be heard, said planning commission did find the following facts to justify their actions, as described below: I. The land use resulting from the change of zone would be compatible with adjacent proposed land uses. 2. The density resulting from the change of zone would be compatible with densities permitted in the adjacent areas. 3. The proposed change of zone would be compatible with the adopted Palm Desert General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the commission in this case; 2. That the planning commission does hereby recommend to the city council approval of a change of zone from AHDPR-18 to Service Industrial. PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1175 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 2nd day of September, 1986, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: DOWNS, ERWOOD, RICHARDS, WHITLOCK, AND CRITES NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTE RAMON A.
