HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 1299PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1299 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A PARCEL MAP TO CREATE A NEW LOT AND SUBSEQUENT CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING ON 4.5 ACRES WITHIN THE HILLSIDE PLANNED RESIDENTIAL ZONE. CASE NO. PM 23711 and PP 88-8 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 5th day of July and the 19th day of July, 1988 hold duly noticed public hearings to consider the request by SUSAN CUSE c/o CHARLES HAVER & ASSOCIATES for approval of a parcel map and a hillside development plan to allow construction of a single family home on 4.5 acres within the Hillside Planned Residential zone generally located west of the Palm Valley Storm Channel, more particularly described as APN 628-130-007. WHEREAS, the applicant made application for a variance, Case No. VAR 88-1, to facilitate and make possible the approval of the requested parcel map. WHEREAS, the planning commission denied Case No. VAR 88-1 because the applicant was unable to affirm the necessary findings. WHEREAS, the applicant has not submitted information which would demonstrate that the proposed parcel map complies with the provisions of the ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the commission in this case. 2. That the planning commission does hereby deny Case No. PM 23711 and PP 88- 8 for the reasons specified above. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 19th day of July, 1988 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: DOWNS, LADLOW, WHITLOCK, ERWOOD NOES: RICHARDS ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE RICHARD ERWOOD, Chairman ATTEST: RAMON A.
