A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING RV 92-1 ALLOWING A RECREATIONAL
VEHICLE TO BE PARKED IN THE FRONT YARD
AREA AT 72-920 Homestead Road.
CASE NO. RV 92-1
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert,
California, did on the 17th day of March, 1992, hold a duly noticed
public hearing to consider the request of MR. & MRS. CARLO TOZI to allow
a recreational vehicle to be parked in the front yard area at 72-920
Homestead Road; and
WHEREAS,, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all
testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to
be heard, said planning commission did find the following facts and
reasons to exist to justify the granting of said recreational vehicle
permit:
1. The subject recreational vehicle will be screened with a
combination of gate and landscaping to the extent necessary
to mitigate adverse aesthetic impacts.
2. The location of the recreational vehicle and the conditions
under which it has been screened and maintained will not be
detrimental to the health, welfare or be materially injurious
to properties in the vicinity.
3. That the screening of the recreational vehicle complies with
the objectives of the city's General Plan in regards to
general levels of appearance in single family neighborhoods.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Paim Desert, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute
the findings of the commission in this case.
2. That approval of Recreational Vehicle Permit 92-1 is hereby
granted.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Paim
Desert Planning Commission, held on this 17th day of March, 1991, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: DOWNS, JONATHAN, RICHARDS
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: SPIEGEL, WHITLOCK
ABSTAIN: NONE
