HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 1569PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1569 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING RV 91-5 ALLOWING A TRAILER TO BE PARKED IN THE FRONT YARD AREA AT 74- 691 CANDLEWOOD. CASE NO. RV 91-5 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 17th day of March, 1992, hold a duly noticed public hearing and continued public hearings on April 21, May 5 and May 19, 1992, to consider the request of MR. ROBERT BARBOZA to allow a trailer to be parked in the front yard area at 74-691 Candlewood; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to be heard, said planning commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist to justify the granting of said trailer permit: 1. The subject trailer will be screened with a combination of gate and landscaping to the extent necessary to mitigate adverse aesthetic impacts. 2. The location of the trailer and the conditions under which it has been screened and maintained will not be detrimental to the health, welfare or be materially injurious to properties in the vicinity. 3. That the screening of the trailer complies with the objectives of the city's General Plan in regards to general levels of appearance in single family neighborhoods. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the commission in this case. 2. That approval of RV 91-5 is hereby granted. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 19th day of May, 1992, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: ABSTAIN: JONATHAN, RICHARDS, SPIEGEL, WHITLOCK NONE DOWNS NONE RAMIN A.
