HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes No 2106PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2106 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2083 BY MODIFYING CERTAIN CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE DEDICATION OF PROPERTY, DESIGN OF AND FUNDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A CUL- DE-SAC ON SAN JUAN AVENUE NORTH OF ALESSANDRO DRIVE AT 73-720 ALESSANDRO DRIVE. CASE NO. PP 01-13 AMENDMENT #1 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 17th day of July, 2001, by its Resolution No. 2083 approve subject to conditions, a 34,760 square foot office complex on the north side of Alessandro Drive between San Pascual and San Juan at 73-770 Alessandro Drive; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 4' day of December, 2001, hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider the request of CARL VOCE for the above described amendment to Planning Commission Resolution No. 2083; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all interested persons desiring to be heard, said Planning Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist to justify granting approval of the above described amendments to said precise plan: 1. Elimination of the requirement for the cul-de-sac on San Juan Avenue will better serve the traffic circulation of the community in general. 2. Elimination of the requirement for the cul-de-sac on San Juan Avenue will allow for an additional landscaped planter area to create a buffer between the parking lot and the dwelling on the east side of San Juan Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the commission in this case. 2. That approval of Precise Plan 01-13 Amendment #1 is hereby granted to amend Planning Commission Resolution No. 2083 by deleting the requirement of Public Works conditions 4 and 5 requiring dedication of property, design of and funding for the installation of a cul-de-sac on San Juan Avenue north of Alessandro Drive. PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2106 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert Planning Commission, held on this 4th day of December, 2001, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: CAMPBELL, FINERTY, JONATHAN, TSCHOPP, LOPEZ NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ATTEST: 'xD IL PHILIP DRELL, Secretary Palm Desert PI nning Commission 2
