Chair Zannie Murphy convened the meeting at 6:00 p.m.

V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. MINUTES of the January 12, 2015, Palm Desert Youth Committee
meeting
Upon motion by Member Sandoval-Heglund, second by Member Kozlak, and a
12-0-3 vote of the Youth Committee (AYES: M. Dan, P. Dan, Goldstone, Hutchinson,
Kim, Murphy, Olson, D. Sandoval-Heglund, S. Sandoval-Heglund, Schmidman, and
Seiberg; NOES: None; ABSTENTIONS: None; ABSENT: Bloch, Chaplin, Chen), the
January 12, 2015, minutes were approved as presented.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
A. APPOINTMENT of Member to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and provide
an update on Youth Committee activities at the March 2, 2015 and April 6,
2015, City Council Meetings.
Upon consensus by the Committee, Member M. Dan was appointed to lead the
Pledge of Allegiance and provide an update on Youth Committee activities at the March
2, 2015 and Member Sanford was appointed to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and
provide an update on Youth Committee activities at the April 6, 2015, City Council
Meeting.
