south side of Country Club Drive, between Monterey Avenue and Portola
Avenue.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Continue Case to the meeting of October 30, 1979.

Request for approval of a preliminary Development Plan to allow 22

5 d.u./ac) zone located at the southwest corner of Hovely Lane and
Portola Avenue.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

at the southwest corner of Highways 74 and 111 .
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the subject amendment to Case No. DP 02-78, by adopting Planning
Commission Resolution No.

D. Case Nos. CUP 08-79 - PALM DESERT COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT,
Applicant
Request for approval of a Conditional Use Permit for Public Utility
purposes (with related setback and parking variance) to allow con-
tinued use of a facility containing an existing maintenance building,
water well building, and living quarters (with proposed remodeling) on
approximately .22 acres within the R-1, S.P. (Single Family Residential ,
Scenic Preservation Overlay) zone located at 44-491 Portola Avenue.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Case No. CUP 08-79 with requested setback and parking variance,
by adopting Planning Commission Resolution No. , subject to condi-
tions.
Action: Continued to meeting of October 17th, 1979.
E. Case Nos. CUP 07-79 and TT 15384 - BRUCE JOEL REIMER, Applicant.
Request for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the conversion
of existing apartments to condominiums and a one lot subdivision for con-
dominium purposes on approximately one acre with the R-2 (Single Family
Residential District) zone generally located on the south side of Santa
Rosa Way approximately 455 ft. west of San Pasqual Avenue.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Case Nos. CUP 07-79 and TT 15384 by adopting Planning Commission
Resolution Nos. and , subject to conditions.
Action: Approved by adoption of Planning Commission Resolution No. 533 and 534.
F. Case No. CUP 09-78 (Amendement) - BANK OF INDIO, Applicant
Request for approval of an amendment of an approved Conditional Use
Permit to allow an additional 20 ft. wide entrance only driveway on El
Paseo to facilitate access to a bank building on approximately 5.4
acres (total Hughes Investment site) , within the C-1, S.P. (General
Commercial District, Scenic Preservation Overlay) , zone generally
located at the northeast corner of State Hwy 74 and El Paseo,
