A. Continued Case No. VAR 07-79 - ERNEST W. HAHN, INC. , Applicant
Request for approval of a Variance to the Zoning Ordinance to increase
the height of Parking Lot light standards from ten (10) feet to
twenty-five (25) feet within the PC-3, S.P. (Planned Commercial , Regional
Center, Scenic Preservation Overlay) and PR-6, S,P. rezoned to R-3(9) ,
(Multi-family Residential , max. 1 d.u./9000 sq. ft. ) zones, generally
located at the northwest corner of Highway 111 and Monterey Avenue.
Staff Recommendation:
Approve a modified Variance, specifying the design of the parking lot
lighting system and hours of use.
Action: Continued to the meeting of January 16, 1980.
B. Case No. TT 14997 - PRO-CON DEVELOPMENTS/T&D INVESTMENTS, Applicant
Request for approval of a Tentative Tract Map for 24 lots to allow 20
condominium units, recreationalarea and common open space on approxi-
mately 4.5 acres within the PR-5 (Planned Residential , 5 d.u,/ac. ) zone
generally located on the south side of Hovley Lane, 2400 feet east of
Monterey Avenue.
Staff Recommendation:
Recommend approval to the City Council of Tentative Tract Map No. 14997,
by adopting Planning Commission Resolution No, , subject to conditions.
Action: Continued to the meeting of February 5, 1980.
C. Case No. TT 15634 - SAN CLEMENTE GROUP DEVELOPMENT CORP. , Applicant
Request for approval of a Tentative Tract Map for 9 lots to allow
construction of 51 condominium units on approximately 10.5 acres within
the PR-7, S.P. (Planned Residential , 7 d.u,/ac. , Scenic Preservation
Overlay) zone generally located on the south side of Parkview Drive,
west of Fairhaven Drive.
Staff Recommendation:

Staff Recommendation:

suggested conditions specifying terms under which the division would be
acceptable.

Staff Recommendation:
Approve Amendment of CUP 03-75, by adopting Planning Commission Resolu-
tion No. , subject to conditions deemed appropriate.
Action: Approved by adoption of Planning Commission Resolution No.
562, with requested attachments.
F. Case No. CUP 15-78 - E. GEORGE MARZICOLA, Applicant
Request for a one year extension of time for a Conditional Use Permit
to create a 42 lot Industrial Planned Unit Development on approximately
34.7 acres within the S.I. , SeP. (Service Industrial , Scenic Preserva-
tion Overlay) zone located at the southeast corner of Cook Street and
Hovley Lane.
Staff Recommendation:
Approve a one year extension of time for CUP 15-78, by adopting
Planning Commission Resolution No.

G. Case No. CUP 17-78 - CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, Applicant
Request for a one year extension of time for a Conditional Use Permit
to allow construction of a Fire Station on approximately 1,10 acres

northwesterly corner of the intersection of Mesa View Drive (Extended)
