Included for your consideration is a suggested Citizen' s Participation Plan for the City of Palm Desert. It is recommended that instead of appointing a new committee to deal specifically with the Community Development Pro- gram, that the City make use of existing City committee and commission members which already represent a wide spectrum of Palm Desert residents . The suggested timeline allows sufficient time for the development of projects for submittal to the County of Riverside for consideration in the Program' s eighth year funding. (1- ka CARLOS L.
