The Mustang League Playing Field diagram may be used for all other girls softball leagues, by moving the pitching plate in to 40 feet for Bronco League play, girls 11 and 12, and back to 46 feet for older girls. Recommended outfield fence or"home run"distance for Bronco age girls is 150 feet • at the foul lines to 200 feet in centerfield. For Colt and Pony League softball, girls 13 through 16, the recommended distances are 175 feet at the foul lines to 225 feet in centerfield. For girls over 16,the distances recommended are 200 feet at the foul lines and 250 feet in centerfield. Where the field will be used for play by both Mustang baseball and girls softball lea- i • gues, it is suggested the fence distances be left at 175 feet on the foul lines and at 225 feet in centerfield. These distances are also recommended in instances where a single field is used for girls softball play in several different age groups. —49— • *we *10100 D A ONDS TO FIT PLAYERS PONY BASEBALL bell: esth; t rather than change the disproportionately closer to the infield than a Major rules of baseball to make ..--ible for young people to Leaguer.
