Background On June 4, 2012, the Oversight Board authorized the Executive Director to execute contracts under $5,000 for routine maintenance, recurring services, and emergency maintenance services required to maintain the Successor Agency properties until disposition. On February 4, 2013, the Oversight Board of the Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency (Oversight Board) approved the 2013/2014B ROPS which lists routine maintenance services on Successor Agency properties as an obligation for January 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014. OB - 084 A RESOLUTION OF THE OVERSIGHT BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RECEIVING AND FILING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S EXECUTED CONTRACTS FOR MAY AND JUNE 2014, FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR OBLIGATIONS LISTED ON THE RECOGNIZED OBLIGATION PAYMENT SCHEDULE (ROPS) RECITALS: A. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34179(3), all actions taken by the Oversight Board for Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency (Oversight Board) shall be adopted by resolution. There has been presented to this Oversight Board for approval to receive and file the Executive Director's summary of executed contracts for routine maintenance and emergency maintenance services for obligations listed on the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS). NOW, THEREFORE, THE OVERSIGHT BOARD FOR THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct and are a substantive part of this Resolution. Section 2. The Oversight Board hereby adopts Resolution No. OB - 084 receiving and filing the Executive Director's summary of executed contracts for routine maintenance and emergency maintenance services for obligations listed on the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) 2013/2014B. Section 3. The staff of the Successor Agency is hereby directed to provide the State Department of Finance ("DOF") written notice and information regarding the action taken by the Oversight Board in Section 2 of this Resolution. Such notice and information shall be provided by electronic means and in a manner of DOF's choosing. Section 4. The officers of the Oversight Board and staff of the Successor Agency are hereby authorized and directed, jointly and severally, to do any and all 1 RES. NO. Recently staff was informed that two of the doors at 43-845 Portola Avenue were compromised, which led to trespassing. The site has been secured and with you approval, staff will pay Desert Master Builders in the amount of $250.00 for the work completed to secure the two doors using plywood.
