Background On June 4, 2012, the Oversight Board authorized the Executive Director to execute contracts under $5,000 for routine maintenance, recurring services, and emergency maintenance services required to maintain the Successor Agency properties until disposition. On December 23, 2015, the Oversight Board of the Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency (Oversight Board) approved the 2014/2015B ROPS which lists routine maintenance services on Successor Agency properties as an obligation for January 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34179(3), all actions taken by the Oversight Board for Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency (Oversight Board) shall be adopted by resolution. There has been presented to this Oversight Board for approval to receive and file the Executive Director's summary of executed contracts for routine maintenance and emergency maintenance services for obligations listed on the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS). NOW, THEREFORE, THE OVERSIGHT BOARD FOR THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct and are a substantive part of this Resolution. Section 2. The Oversight Board hereby adopts Resolution No. OB - 113 receiving and filing the Executive Director's summary of executed contracts for routine maintenance and emergency maintenance services for obligations listed on the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) 2014/2015B. Section 3. The staff of the Successor Agency is hereby directed to provide the State Department of Finance ("DOF") written notice and information regarding the action taken by the Oversight Board in Section 2 of this Resolution. Such notice and information shall be provided by electronic means and in a manner of DOF's choosing. Section 4. The officers of the Oversight Board and staff of the Successor Agency are hereby authorized and directed, jointly and severally, to do any and all 1 RESOLUTION NO. Staff recently became aware of required maintenance on a parcel owned by the Successor Agency, known as 45350 Larkspur Lane site, A.P.N 627-262- 01103 (see attached photographs). Staff received a bid from Horizon Landscape to clean up miscellaneous debris, weeds, and litter located on the lot in the amount not to exceed $150.00. Horizon Landscape, Inc. is a licensed and insured vendor that has successfully completed other similar work for the Agency. The proposed expenditures are eligible to be paid out of the approved Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule, line item 43, Project Area 1.
