ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM- PALM DESERT CIVIC CENTER 73-510 FRED WARING DRIVE, PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA 92260 This Oversight Board has been created pursuant to§34161 through 34190 of the Health and Safety Code for the sole purpose of overseeing the actions of the Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency. In accordance with Health and Safety Code§ 34179(h), all Oversight Board actions shall not be effective for five (5) business days, pending a request for review by the State Department of Finance ("Department"). In the event that the Department requests a review of a given Oversight Board action, it shall have 40 days from the date of its request to approve the Oversight Board action or return it to the Oversight Board for reconsideration, and such Oversight Board action shall not be effective until approved by the Department. In the event that the Department returns the Oversight Board action to the Oversight Board for reconsideration, the Oversight Board shall resubmit the modified action for Department approval,and the modified Oversight Board action shall not become effective until approved by the Department. Reports and documents relating to each of the following items listed on the agenda, including those received following posting/distribution, are on file in the Office of the Secretary to the Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency/Palm Desert City Clerk and are available for public inspection during normal business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 73510 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260, telephone (760) 346-0611. Action: V. NEW BUSINESS A. ACTIONS/MINUTES OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY. Rec: Waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. OB - 166, receiving and filing Minutes of the Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency Meetings of June 22, July 13, August 24, September 7, September 28, October 12, October 26, and November 16, 2017. Action: B. ELECTION OF OVERSIGHT BOARD MEMBER TO THE OFFICE OF VICE CHAIR. Rec: By Minute Motion, appoint a standing Oversight Board Member to the Office of Vice Chair. Action: C. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED ADMINISTRATIVE BUDGETS FOR THE SIX-MONTH FISCAL PERIODS FROM JULY 1 -DECEMBER 31,2018, AND FROM JANUARY 1 - JUNE 30, 2019. Rec: Waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. OB - 167, approving the Successor Agency's Administrative Budgets for the six-month periods of July 1 - December 31, 2018 ("Administrative Budget 18-19A") and from January 1 - June 30, 2019 ("Administrative Budget 18-19B"), and taking certain related actions. ADJOURNMENT Next regular Oversight Board of the Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency Meeting scheduled to be held Monday, February 5, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. However, in consideration of the scheduling of this meeting on January 22, 2018, the February meeting will likely be canceled.
