President Spiegel convened the meeting at 4:00 p.m.

B. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL of First Amendment to Property Management Agreement with
RPM Company (Contract No. R13771).
Rec: By Minute Motion, approve the subject amendment to the contract between the Palm
Desert Housing Authority and RPM effective January 29, 1998, and authorize the
President's execution thereof.
Upon motion by Kelly, second by Benson, and unanimous vote of the Housing Authority Board,
the Consent Calendar was approved as presented.

C. PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE AUTHORITY
Vice President Crites stated he and Commissioner Kelly had participated in several meetings
of the Landscape Beautification Committee. He added that one of the topics they considered
was One Quail Place and other such areas of excess plantings. He felt their involvement in
the committee would be beneficial for general City policies in this regard.
X. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Crites, second by Ferguson, and unanimous vote of the Housing Authority Board,
President Spiegel adjourned the meeting at 5:12 p.m.
