TRACT NO. 6229 WHEREAS. the Citq Council of the City of Palm Desert, Cali- fornia, did receive a verified application from the MARRAKESH BUILDING AND COUNTRY CLUB, requesting approval of a 100-unit planned residential development on 27 acres of land, located in the R-1-10 000 zone and aituated west of Portola Avenue. south of Crapevine Street and north of Haystack Road, more particularly described as: a portion of the SW of the NE4 and the NW y of the SE of Section 29 TSS, R6E. S.B.B. & M. WHEREAS eaid application has complied with the require- ments of the "City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Procedure Resolution No. 74-14" in that the project Was initiated prior to the effective date of the California Environmental Quality Act and is therefore considered to be exempt as an ongoing project, and; GiHEREAS, the City Council did take into consideration the revised tentative map as submitted and the report of the various revieW agencies. and; WHEREAS. the City Council did find that the subject revised tentative map does comply with the City of Palm Desert Code (County Ordinance No. 460), and the State of California Subdivision Ilap Act as amended; IiHEREAS . the Citq Council did find that the subject revised tentative map does comply with the adopted General Plan. NOii. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Citq Council of the City of Palm Desert. California as follows: l. DISCUSSION OF !fM REVISION: The only effec[ive change that vould occur ftas the approval of the revised map vould be the change in the number � of phases in vhich this prnject ahall be completed. Pursuant to Section °� �.10 of the Subdiviaion Ordinance. thia appraval would annul the previous '�ap, but �ould not extend the time within which the final map mus[ be - filed. All previous conditions of approval have beea included. �
