MHEREAS, the Cfty Council of the City of Palm Desert did receive a
�e�ifted application fr+an ENYIRONMENTAI OEVELOPMEtiT COMPANY, requesting a 12
■onth extension on a 209-unit condominfun project on 33.6 acres of land, located
in the R-2-700U tone and situated 1.5 �niles south of State Higtnrar 111, on the
rest side of Hlghway T4. more particularly described as:
being a portion of government lot 1 in the t11�;
of Section 31, and a portion of the W� of the
NE� of Section 31, T55. R6E, SBB a M.
�, WHEREAS, said application was exempt from the requirements of the "City
�, of Palm Desert Envirormiental Quality Procedure Resolution Nunbe� 14-14", i� that

f� Enviro�mental Quality Act and is therefore considered to be exempt as an ongoing

NHEREAS. the City Councit did take into consiGeratio� the Tentative
t�ap as submitted, and the reports of the various reviewin9 agencies. and;
WHEREAS, the City Council did find that the subject Tentative Map does
substantially comply with the City of Palm Desert CoGe(County O�dinance t�umber 46�),
and the State of California Subdivisio� Map Act, as amended;
WHEREAS, the City Council did finA that the subject Te�tative Map does
comply Nith the adopted General Plan, and;
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLYED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert as follays:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the
findings of the Council in this case.
2. That it does hereby approve said extension of the above described
Tentative Map No. 4442, subject to fulfillment of the conditions as attached.
