YHEREAS. said appticatton has conplied Mith the requirements of the
"City of Palm Oesert Envfronmental Quatity Procedure Resolution Number 74-14",
in that an Environmental Assessment forai was submitted and a Negative Declaration
was made by the Director of Environmental Services on Ap il 19, 1976, and
the appeat perlod has explred, anE;
M IEREAS, the City Council did take into consideration the Tentative
Map as submltted, ane Lhe reports of the various revie ving a9encies, and;
MIEREAS, the City Council did find that the subject Tentative Map
dces not comply with the adopted Palm Desert General Plan in that the project
would encourage excessire development in the scenic hillside area of the City.
NOM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert as follorvs:
1) That the above 'recitations are true and correct and constitute the
findings of the City Council in this case;
2) That it does hereby deny the above described Tentative Map No.
PM 7794 and Waiver of a Final Mlap.
