PALM DESERT. CAtIFORNIA. SETTING FORTH ITS FIND1Nf,S
ANO APPROyING A TENTATIYE MAP TO ALIOW FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF A 130-UIIT PLAtrNED RESIDENTIAL SUBDIYISION ON 37

MHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Patm Desert, did
recon�nend approval. by Planning Commission Resolution Flo. 163, of an appli-
cation from SILVER SPUR ASSOCIATES for a Tentative Tract Map for a 130-unit
planned residential development on 3� acres of land, located in the PR-7
rone and situated south of Portola Avenue, east of Mariposa Drive, and
north of Irontree Drive, more particularly described as:
a portion of the east 'Z
of Section 32, Township 5 South,
Range 6 East, S.B.B, b M.
WNEREAS, said application has corr�lied with the requirements of the
"City of Palm Desert Environmental Quality Procedure Resolution Number
�4-14", in that a final Environmental Impact Report was filed and certified as
complete for Conditional Use Case No. 1382; and,
NHEREAS, the City Council did take into consideration the Tentative
Nap as submitted, and the reports of the various reviewing agencies; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did find that the subject Tentative Map
does substantially comply with the City of Palm Desert Code (County Ordinance
�2umber 460), and the State of California Subdivision Map Act, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did find that the subject Tentative Map
does comply Mith the adopted General Ptan.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Pa1a� Oesert as folla+s:
1. that the above recitations are true and correct and constitute
the findl�gs of the City Council in this case;
2. that 1t does hereby approve the above described Tentative Map
No 5796. subject to fulfillment of the follo�ving conditions (copy attached);
3. that City Council Resolution No. 76-Z extending Tract 5795 is
hereby r�epealed.
