Home My WebLink AboutCC RES 79-058RESOLUTION N0. 79-58 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF FILES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES THAT HAVE BEEN MICROFILMED. WHEREAS, the Department of Environmental Services of the City of Palm Desert, California, has copied onto microfilm: Official files, records, exhibits, permits and other documents of said de- partment; and WHEREAS, said microfilm files may be stored and retained for substantially less cost than the original documents and with less hazard from fire or water dar.lage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and con- stitute the findings of the City Council in this case; 2. That it does, hereby, approve the destruction of all application forms, documents, records, exhibits, related information contained in those files indicated on the attached Exhibit 'A', which have been microfilmed, filed and are available for public use.
