The City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, DOES HE:tEBY DETEnrZINE, ORDER, and RESOLVE as follows : I That in conformance with the adopted Specific Plan for the Colle�e of the Desert area, the Council inter�ds to and by this Resolution daes initiate proceedings to close to traffic the following streets: Santa Rosa ?�Tay, San Nicholas Avenue and Guadalupe Avenue. Said closures are to be accomplished by creating dead-end cul-de-sacs on each street, just east of Monterey Avenue, thus prohibitin� any traffic connection between said streets and P�Ionterey Avenue. The Cit� Council further states its intention to open three new north-south streets, as shown on the attached exhibit, hereby referred to as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, to provide proper traffic circulation and access. II That the hour of 7:00 p.m. on the 14th day of August, 1930, in the Council Chambers, 45-275 Prickly Pear Lane, Palm Desert, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed street closures. � III That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish notice of hearing in the Palm Desert Post once and once in another newspaper of �eneral circulation at least ten (10) days before the date of the hear- ing, and the City officials of the City of Palm Desert are hereby instructed to post notice of such closure at least ten (10) days before the date set for hearing, and to notify by mail, all affected property owners in the area bounded by Avenue 44, San Anselmo Avenue, Guadalupe Avenue (both sides) and Monterey Avenue.
