HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 80-064RESOLUTION N0. 80- 64 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA CANCELLING ENFORCEMENT OF MOBILE HOME PARKS. WHEREAS, the City Council of Palm Desert, California has reviewed the enforcement policy and State mandates concerning mobile home parks; and, WHEREAS, the effects of Proposition 13 and Proposition 4 dictates economy in total City wide enforcement; and, WHFREAS, the assumption of enforcement in those mobile home parks, e.g. Silver Spur Mobile Manor, Indian Springs Mobile Home Park, Portola Palms, and Palm Desert Mobile Estates, by the State of California will provide a substantial savings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that enforcement of mobile home parks within the corporate City limits of Palm Desert, California be terminated on June 30, 1980, and be it further resolved this action shall constitute a 30-day notice requirement to the Department of Housing & Community Development of the State of California pursuant to Section 18300(e) of the Health & Safety Code. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert City Council held on this 22nd day of aa� , 1980, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: McPherson, Newbrander, Puluqi, Snyder & Wilson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None /� /� S.
