HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 80-084� RESOLUTION N0. 80-84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A 20-FOOT WIDE EASEMENT ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHSIDE FIRE STATION TO SILVER SPUR ASSOCIATES. WHEREAS, Silver Spur Associates did dedicate the property within their � development for the Southside Fire Station; and WHEREAS, Silver Spur Associates now desires a 20-foot easement adjacent to said Southside Fire Station for the purpose of constructing an irrigation water line for the Ironwood Development; and WHEREAS, said easement will not affect the site plan of said Fire Station. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, that the City of Palm Desert does hereby grant a 20-foot wide easement along the easterly side of the City of Palm Desert's �ire Station located at Mesa View Drive, near Portola, as described in Exhibit "A", attached and made a part hereof, and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said Grant of Easement. WITNESS my hand and official seal. -% <._�' Notary Public in and fo � he State of Cal.ifornia -2- RESOLUTION N0. 80-84 EXHIBIT 'A' �� LEGAL DESCRIPTION EASEMENT ACROSS FIRE STATION SITE An easement for water lines and appurtenant structures in, over and across that portion of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, Township 5 South, Range 6 East, San Bernardino Meridian, which lies within a strip of land 20.00 feet wide the easterly line of which is described as follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Parcel 1 as shown on Record of Survey filed in Boak 59, Pages 39 and 42 of Records of Survey, Records of Riverside County, said Northeasterly corner also being ihe Northeasterly corner of that certain parcel of land described in Deed to the City of Palm Desert recorded on November 6, 1978 as Instrument No. 233825, of Official Records of said County; thence 0°44'49" East 233.47 feet along the Easterly line of said Parcel and the Easterly line of said certain parcel of land to the Southerly boundary of said certain parcel of land.
