HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 81-101RESOLUTION N0.81-101 A RESOLUTIO(J OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN 18 MONTH TI��IE EXTENSION FQR A 24 LOT TENTATIVE TRACT MAP TO ALLOW 264 CONDO- MINIU��{S AND A 9 ACRE PUBLIC PARK. CASE N0: TT 16015 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, did on the 23rd day of April, 1981, hold a duly noticed Public Hearing and continued hearings on June 25 and July 9, 1981, to consider the request of {�1AYER CONSTRUCTION ING, and STANLEY C. MORSE for approval of an 18 month Time Extension for a 24 lot Tentative Tract Map to allow 264 condominiums and a nine acre park on approximately 39 acres located at the northeast corner of ��onterey and Country Club Drive. WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of the "City of Palm Desert Procedures to Implement the California Environmental Quality Act, Resolution iJo. 80-89", in that the Director of Environmental Services has deter►nined that the project has been previously assessed under case Nos.C/Z 09-79 and LiP 15-79 and no further evaluation is deemed necessary. WHEREAS, at said Public Hearing, upon hearing and considering all testi- mony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said City Council did find the following facts and reasons to exist to approve the Tentative Tract Map Time Extension: (a) That.the proposed map is consistent with appli- cable general and specific plans. (b) That the design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is consistent with applicable general and specific plans. \ i 1 (c) That the site is physically suitable for the type of development. (d) T;�at the site is physically suitable for the proposed density of development. (e) That the design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements are not likely to cause substantial environmental damage or substantially and avoidably injure fish or wildlife or their habitat. (f) That the design of the subdivision or the type of improvements is not likely to cause serious public health problems. (g) That tf�e design of the subdivision or the type of improvements will not conflict with easements, ac- quired by the pulbic at large, for access through or use of, property within the proposed subdivision. N�hl, THEREFORE, BE I7 RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and constitute the findings of the Council in this case. 2. That it does hereby approve an 18 month Time Extension of the above described Tentative blap No. TT 16015 for the reasons set forth in this Resolution, and subject to to the original conditions of approval. � RESOLUTION N0._ 81-1 1 PAGE TWO 3.
