A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND APPROVING
AN EIGHTEEN (18) MONTH EXTENSION PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 26.20.140 OF THE PALM DESERT
MUNICIPAL CODE FOR APPROVED TENTATIVE TRACT MAP
TT 1499T.
CASE N0. TT 14997 (jIME EXTENSION).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, did
receive a request from PRO-CON DEVELOPMENT/T & D INVESTMENTS, for approval of an 18
month Time Extension for a 24 lot Tentative Tract Map to allow construction of 20
condominium units, recreational area and common open space on approximately 4.5 acres
��ithin the PR-5 (Planned Residential, 5 d.u./acre) zone, generally located at the
south side of Hovley Lane, 2,500 feet east of Monterey Avenue, more particularly
described as:
APN 621-190-071 and 621-190-080
WHEREAS, the City Council is empowered to grant time extensions of up to
eighteen months for filing of the final map in Section 26.20.140 of the Palm Desert
Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did find the following reasons to exist to
justify the granting of said time extension:
1. Granting the time extension will not in any way adversely affect
the public health, safety or general welfare.
2. The applicant is not proposing any changes to the project and the
situation in the vicinity of the project is unchanged since the
subject t�entative tract was originally approved.
NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert, California, as follows:
1. Th�t PRO-CON DEVELOPMENT/T & D INVESTMENTS is hereby granted an
18 month time extension of the approval of Tentative Tract Ptap
No. 14997.
2. That the Final Map for Tract fdo. 14997 must be filed prior to
August 28, 1982, to preserve the validity of said tract.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Palm
Desert, California, this �th day of Marrh , 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Newbrander, Puluqi, Snyder & Wilson
NOES: None
ABSENT: McPherson
